Team Sprocket go truly international with the completion of their 2010 line up

By signing two emerging talents in sprinter Tobyn Horton from Guernsey in the Channel Islands and American Christian Parrett from the USA, our growing team really is gaining true strength in depth.

Tobyn Horton from the island of Guernsey, is the first rider from the Channel Islands to turn professional and after catching the eye of director sportif Magnus Backstedt on a training ride on his home island, it just shows what being in the right place at the right time can do for you.

"Tobyn caught my eye on a training ride when I was over speaking at their club dinner. He's spent two years racing in Belgium with some excellent results. Our goal with this team has always been to bring in riders who are off the radar so to speak and the small island of Guernsey is just that.

He's a strong rider and a good sprinter, I'm looking forward to passing on my experience as both a sprinter and lead out man to him."

Christian Parrett from Georgia in the USA joins Team Sprocket after racing Europe in 2009 with the American national team.

Team manager Martin McCrossan takes up the story " I get hundreds of emails every week from riders looking to ride with the team, as most managers do I imagine. We always wanted an American rider on the team and we feel that Christian, with his great climbing ability, will do really well for us. I'm really excited to take him to races such as the Tour of the Pyrenees and see what he can do in the high mountains.

We now have 5 Swedes, 2 Brits, and Aussie and an American, which is the sort of mix we want. Our guys are very close knit and really look out for each other. Its that true band of brothers attitude."

Horton should line up with his new team this weekend for the GP Lillers in France, with Parrett joining them in Europe by the end of the month.
